SAFE

Was commissioned by the National Theatre, as part of the Theatre of Debate strand for Connections, in 2008.  Four playwrights were asked to work with groups of young people

on the margins and create plays for them.

SAFE was created with young people from Fairbridge, Southampton.

SAFE was first performed in the National Theatre on the Lyttelton stage.

It was directed by Fairbridge’s drama tutor, Dave Thorpe.
